Off Grid Upgrade

We just completed an inverter upgrade for a special off grid client, William’s mom!  She was using an ancient Trace 2024 modified square wave inverter.  These are the inexpensive and easy to buy type of inverters you find in auto part stores and hardware stores.  While they do provide AC power at 120 volts, it isn’t very “clean”.  The power output is especially hard on battery chargers for things like cordless tools, laptop computers and TV/stereo systems.  In fact she has had two laptop failures – and my guess points to the inverter as the problem.  All we had to do was match the battery voltage and upgrade to a 24 volt pure sine wave inverter.  Now Annie has utility quality AC power.
