Work in progress...

Sunsense was contracted in March 2011 to supply design and installation services for the Garfield County Airport Solar Array (GCASA). The 858kW solar electric system is designated as a "community solar" project. The concept is simple. Holy Cross Energy (the local co-op utility) customers can purchase solar electric panels from the array in any quantity. Power generated by these panels is then monitored and credited on the customer's monthly bill.

The project is a partnership between Holy Cross Energy, the Clean Energy Collective, Martifer Solar and Sunsense. As the recognized leader in large-scale solar electric system integration, Sunsense was selected as the contractor for this project. System design/engineering, project management, site supervision and detail-oriented installation made Sunsense the logical choice.

The GCASA solar electric system was completed in May 2011.
