Jeff Lauckhart, Operations Manager
Jeff has been studying and installing renewable energy systems since 2001. After a few years of study at the University of Washington, Jeff transferred to Appalachian State University and received his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Appropriate Technology. At ASU, Jeff helped initiate the North Carolina Small Wind Initiative and helped build the Small Wind Research and Development site on Beech Mountain. After college, Jeff moved to Santa Cruz, California and started working in the PV field. Jeff joined Sunsense in January of 2006 and is a both a NABCEP and COSEIA certified solar installer. Jeff is now Design Engineer at Sunsense. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest has given Jeff an appreciation of the ample sun in Western Colorado and he has decided to stay in Colorado long-term to implement solar electric and renewable energy technologies in this emerging market.
